Italy: The Heart of Tuscany

The first time Mugello hosted the Grand Prix was in 1976, and the amazing Tuscan circuit layout, which surges naturally in a beautiful tree-lined valley, has practically remained the same ever since. The song was bought by Ferrari in 1988 and was renovated to high standards shortly thereafter – with excellent facilities and world-class safety features. It has been a permanent MotoGP ™ place since 1991 and so on.

The love story of Italy with bicycle racing is long and long lasting. Manufacturers such as Mondial, Moto Guzzi, Gilera, MV Agusta, Morbidelli, Garelli, Cagiva and now Aprilia and Ducati all play roles, in addition to great riders like Giacomo Agostini and Valentino Rossi (quoted from motogp.com)

Why do we love Italy and Tuscany?

Enchanting cities, amazing mountains and lakes, stunning coastlines, great weather, incredible wines, extraordinary cuisine, thousands of years of history and classical architecture … What else do you want from a holiday destination?

The Italian capital of Rome was once the center of the entire empire, and millions of tourists each year visit every year to see the Roman Forum and Colosseum, next to St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican Museums, Sistina Chapel Michelangelo and Trevi fountains.

The northern part of Italy offers beautiful mountains in the area bordering Austria, France and Switzerland and the major cities in the north – Turin, Milan, Genoa, Bologna – are central to the nation’s economic and post-industrial power.

Meanwhile southern Italy has a contrasting charm and countryside, with miles of unspoiled beaches and attractive cities like Naples and Palermo.

Mugello is located in the beautiful Tuscan region of central Italy, just north of Rome, and only a short drive from Florence – a cultural and historical hotspot. Pisa and Siena are also in Tuscany, and locals in both cities will argue that their city is as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than Florence.

Road To Gran Premio d’Italian Oakley – Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello

After a week ago Le Mans has witnessed the rider’s of Honda Marquez get victory and was followed by Ducati riders, this time will be held again the MotoGP championship in Italy. Yesterday’s race was the 300 th race at Le Mans. It became a pride for the Repsol Honda Team factory because Marquez finished first.

So far Marquez has led MotoGP world championship points with 95 points. Then followed by Dovizioso with 87 points, Alex Rins 75 and Rossi 72. So far the four drivers are leading the standings. This time Mugello is an enemy cage for Marquez. Will Marquez be able to hit and win in Italy?

Ducati racers, factory and satellites began to show their best performances. This is evidenced by the results of the races that have been held by Ducati riders starting to feel comfortable and begin to dominate the front line. Then what about Yamaha?

Valentino Rossi (Energy Monster Yamaha MotoGP) has won consecutive wins at Mugello from 2004 to 2008. Maybe it’s time for others to replace Rossi’s position. However, The Doctor will still give the yellow color at Mugello right now.

Quietly giving an interesting touch and good achievement Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) brought Suzuki to the 3rd position in the Champions League. It’s unexpected that Suzuki has a good driver. Rins has a soft racing style and always adds speed to every lap. He noted that he had a good record of time each round and he was rarely involved in an incident.

There have been many young riders who will color the 2019 Moto GP world championship. For that we still follow the information and developments here.

The results of the MotoGP class qualification at the SHARK Helmets Grand Prix de France

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) again occupied the pole position in the Moto GP Le Mans race this time. Even though he had fallen during the qualification, it did not reduce Marc’s enthusiasm. This time the condition of the circuit can be said to be less conducive because it is the same as when the practice of wet circuit conditions. This becomes a very big consideration for the driver and also his team.

The second position of the starting grid is occupied by Petruci (Mission Winnow Ducati) which is followed by Miller and Dovizioso. These three Ducati have indeed performed well at Le Mans. Petrucci said that a good strategy is to always increase the speed of each lap. So he was able to get second place and he felt very happy.

After the Ducati Trio fifth position was occupied by Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP). When FP Rossi did not show good performance, he was in qualifying 1 while his team mate Maverick Vinales was in qualification 2. That was because at the time FP Vinales had a better record of time than Rossi. But what happened to Vinales? He got 11th position in the starting grid.
