Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) showed dominance in Assen by winning the Dutch MotoGP this time. He was able to beat Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) with all the effort he did. Vinales revealed that the Assen circuit was one of the circuits he liked. It is indeed a pride for him because he only won after the Australian GP last year.
Rookie Fabio Quartararo began to show his ability to ride a Yamaha with Petronas Yamaha SRT. He got the pole position in qualifying and got the podium in third place with Vinales and Marquez. He was also very dominant in undergoing a series of MotoGP races from the start of the FP to the race. Quartararo should be proud because this time he was able to compete until it was finished and got results that were quite satisfying.
Marc Marquez performed very well at Assen, though with great effort. Marquez stated that Yamaha was very strong at Assen. For that according to him he only needs to secure points so that they remain at the top of the points. Marquez thinks if he is too pushy at Assen he will likely lose a lot of points in this session. But finishing in second place was very encouraging for him. Despite the results, Marquez said “But this is like a struggle. We add to the championship, that’s the most important thing. And on the circuit where we are overwhelmed, we can”
